The Schwemmalm ski area in the Ulten Valley also has a convincing mix of easy and varied slopes and the magnificent view of the Dolomites and the Stilfserjoch National Park. Winter hikes
What could be more beautiful than hiking through the snow-covered winter landscape and enjoying the wonderful peace and quiet? In the car-free Vigiljoch hiking area, you can enjoy winter in a particularly natural setting. Here you can go winter hiking and snowshoeing. A beautiful tour leads to the little church of St. Vigil and on via the restaurant “Gasthof Seespitz” to the biotope at the "Schwarzen Lacke". Christmas markets

The Christmas Market in Meran can also be easily reached in around 20 minutes by bus or car. In the Ulten Valley, the "Ulten Christmas" awaits you in the pre-Christmas season with three small contemplative and very special Christmas markets.
